BERLIN Pauline A. Gamache, 94, of Berlin, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. She was born in Berlin on May 16, 1923, the daughter of Alfred and Regina (Audet) Laliberte and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from the Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, in 1942 and was a member of Good Shepherd Parish. Pauline had worked for Brown Company and Converse and did volunteer work at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home. She enjoyed crafts and knitting and had knitted many booties and hats for AIDS babies. She was a member of the Order of St. Francis.
Family includes her son, Raymond Gamache and wife, Elaine of Berlin; daughters, Gloria Gamache of Somerville, Mass. and Dolores Albee and husband, Charles of Pembroke, Mass.; grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Christopher, Jillian, David and Jonathan; great-grandchildren, Cooper, Jack, Charlie, Garrett, Harry, Whitaker and Addison; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Jean Paul Gamache on Dec. 22, 2014, her daughter, Jeannette in 1957 and a sister, Rita.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.
Interment will be in the St. Anne Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, Sept. 5, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, prior to the funeral.
