  Died: Joan H. Owens died at the age of 88, at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024. Joan was always a very loving and caring woman who loved to travel. The love and importance of family bond was always first and foremost to her. Some of Joan's favorite things were enjoying the holidays with family, reading, watching her favorite game shows, and working jigsaw puzzles. Joan's family considered her the main piece to the family puzzle. We are all going to miss her so deeply. May she rest in peace. Joan is survived by four sisters: Judy (Ollie), Narda, Gail, and Denise. Her five children: Teresa, Robert (Tracy), Allen, Neal (Sharon), and Janine (Bob). Her thirteen grandchildren, Nineteen great grandchildren, and three great-greatgrandchildren. There will be a Visitation at Alternative Funeral & Cremation Services on Tuesday, August 20th, 2024, from 10:00am - 12:00pm, with a Service at 12:00pm. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bridgeton at 1:30pm.
