'Mush Mouse' Sunkes, 56, of Route 40, died at his residence on Monday, February 12, 2007 after a long illness, surrounded by his family. He was born in Cohoes and was the son of the late John and Josephine Sunkes. He worked for Ken's Floor Service and then went into business for himself as Wayne's Floor Service for 18 years. He is survived by his wife Sheila Demers Sunkes of Melrose. Father of Mrs. David (Rita) Edwards, Robert (Darcy) Gamache, Raymond ( Melissa) Paul, Paula Sunkes and Tim Hosinger and the late Bret Sunkes. Brother of Martin Rivette. Poppy to Tiffany and Austin Edwards, Robert, Sara, and Zachary Gamache, Brenda and Keith Paul. Great-grandfather of Raymond Gamache. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Wednesday evening at 7 at the DUFRESNE FUNERAL HOME INC., 216 Columbia St. in Cohoes, with Rev. Anthony Green officiating.
