Emil William (Sam) Noesen SNYDERS LAKE ? Emil William (Sam) Noesen, age 83, husband of the late Beverly Ross Noesen who passed away on December 21, 2012, died on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Great Barrington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Great Barrington, MA. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Emil and Ethel Noesen. He attended Troy schools and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Noesen was a machinist for34 years at the Watervliet Arsenal retiring in 1985. He also worked for 10 years for security at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. He was a member of the Mount Zion Masonic Lodge #311 in Troy and the Wynantskill American Legion Post #1489.He is survived by 2 daughters, Lynn C. Noesen of Snyders Lake and Sharron Wishart of Cohoes, a son, Gary W. (Renee) Noesen of East Greenbush, 3 granddaughters, Amy (Chad) Gamache of Waterford, Shelby Noeson of Scotia and Sabrina Moak Noesen of Syracuse and 2 great grandchildren, Chad and Paige Gamache of Waterford. He is also survivedby an additional granddaughter, 3 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Donations to the Alzheimer's Association , 4 Pine West Plaza, Suite #405, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Mrs. Noesen would be appreciated.
