King, 53, of 67 Eveline Street will be held Monday at 10 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. William Rickert officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Friends may call at Seefeld Church Avenue Chapel Sunday from 4-8 P.M. Prayer service Sunday will be held at 7:30 P.M. He died Friday at 7 AM at Mercy Medical Center, following an illness of seven years. He was born in Iron Mountain, MI on Dec. 22, 1922, son of Henry and Aurora King and was married to Betty J. Horzen on Aug. 27, 1949. Mr. King had formerly been employed at Kimberly-Clark Corp., then for 10 years had been employed in psychiatry at Winnebago Mental Health Institute, retiring in 1969. He served in the South Pacific in the Coast Guard during WWII and was a member of the local post of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was also a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Local 48 of the American Federation of State and Municipal Employees. Surviving are his widow; four sons, Timothy J. King, Kent, Ohio, Timothy Kind (sic), Madison, Lawrence F. King, Escanaba, Mich., and Paul B. King, at home; three daughters, Misses Marie, Elizabeth and Barbara King, at home; his mother in Kingsford, Mich; two brothers, Lawrence King, Cadillac, Mich., and Gabriel King, Milwaukee; and two sisters, Mrs. John (Bette) Maddente, Wauwautosa, and Mrs. Wallace (Gerry) Vanness, Milwaukee.
