| 10002 | Woman dies from fire injuries 2/14/2012 The (Schenectady, NY) Times Journal By David Avitabile The 46-year-old woman injured in a fire died Thursday at a Syracuse hospital. Kelly Finn was taken by ambulance from the Route 7 home she was renting last Tuesday morning to Cobleskill Regional Hospital, said Schoharie County Sheriff Tony Desmond. After being stabilized, the mother of two was flown by helicopter to Syracuse where she died Thursday. Many questions remain about the fire and the death. Sheriff Desmond said evidence from the fire has been sent to a lab for analysis but no results have come back. There has also been no information back on the autopsy performed on Ms. Finn, the Sheriff said. The cause of the fire still has not been determined, he said. Fire and police officials have interviews members of Ms. Finn's family, including her son and daughter, the Sheriff said. The call for the fire at the Central Bridge home came in at 8:43am last Tuesday. When fire personnel arrived at 3240 Route 7, one half mile east of Wetsel Hollow Road, they found a working structure fire with a heavy smoke condition. Emergency personnel removed Ms. Finn, who was unresponsive, and she was being transported by ambulance to Cobleskill Regional Hospital. Ms. Finn was the only one at home in the white, two-story wooden home at the time of the fire. Most of the fire was contained to the rear of the building. It also spread to the attic. Firefighters from Central Bridge, Cobleskill, Schoharie, Esperance, and Middleburgh responded to the scene along with a fire assist and search team from Worcester. Emergency personnel from the Scho-Wright, Cobleskill and Central Bridge ambulance squads also responded. | Gamache, Kelly J. (I73338639)

| 10003 | Woman killed in Burlington crash was 'free spirit' who loved the arts, obituary says By Christine Dempsey, Staff Writer Oct 22, 2024 BURLINGTON ? A woman who died in a double-fatal crash earlier this month was described as an adventurous lover of the arts and a free spirit, according to her obituary. Tiffany Gamache Cormier, 39, had ?a great love and appreciation for music,? the obituary said. ?To Tiffany, music was more than just something to listen to.? In fact, an entire wall in her bedroom was adorned with renderings of many of her favorite singers, painted by a local artist, it said. She could sing, too, with a ?strong and soulful voice,? and was a published poet and a comedian, as well, the obituary said. ?She had the innate ability to improvise rhymes or rewrite lyrics to any melody or song on the spot. Those around her never knew when she might suddenly break the silence, even in the most tension-filled room, by bursting into a silly song of her own composition,? it said. A skilled craftsman, Cormier recently had become interested in a very different art form ? chainsaw art, the obituary said. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking. Her enthusiasm often rubbed off on others, it said. ?She was known for her amazing ability to energize and motivate those around her, even when facing struggles of her own,? the obituary said. She leaves behind four children, a mother and stepfather, a father and stepmother, and siblings, according to her obituary. A private burial will be held at the family?s request, and a celebration of her life for family and friends will be scheduled for a later date. Her brother has set up a GoFundMe fundraiser to pay for the services, which more than doubled its $10,000 goal by having raised $27,565 by Tuesday afternoon. | Gamache, Tiffany Margaret (I56365)

| 10004 | Woman murdered in Lowell was a loving mother, sister says May 12, 2017 at 11:37 pm EDT LOWELL, Mass. ? Family and friends of a Lowell mother who was killed this week tell Boston 25 News that Nicole Gamache White was a wonderful person. White was shot and killed Thursday morning. It took police 30 hours to find the suspect, Ross Elliot, after he had died from a gunshot wound. ?She was too good of a person to die that way, too good,? White?s friend Olga, who asked not to reveal her last name, said. Olga said White was an amazing mother and friend, but her ex-boyfriend Elliott had recently come back into her life. ?She was talking about him a couple days ago, so it was still going on,? she said. White?s sister, Michelle Gamche, shared a picture of the two when they were young girls with Boston 25 News. "He loved her, if he couldn't have her, nobody else could,? Michelle said. Both women say Elliott was always trying to control White. ?I know he was always trouble, he's been controlling on so many occasions and she always tried to get away from him,? Olga said. What?s most troubling is that White, who loved her kids so much, was taken just days before Mother?s Day. ?Every conversation we had, every time we'd meet up, it was her talking about her kids." http://www.lowellsun.com/news/ci_30983785/massive-manhunt-lowell-murder-suspect?source=top_stories_bar http://www.wmur.com/article/residents-told-to-stay-inside-as-search-for-armed-and-dangerous-man-continues-in-lowell/9642178?src=app | Gamache, Nicole M.
