The Tawas Herald May 15, 1925, pg. 1 col. 3 Mrs. Josephine King Mrs. Josephine King, wife of Peter King of the Hemlock Road, passed away Friday May 8, after an illness of three weeks. Josephine Duquette was born June 30, 1867, in Baraga County, Upper Peninsula. In 1888, she was united in marriage to Peter King. To this union nine children were born. Mrs. Patrick Campeau of L?Anse, Upper Peninsula, Clifford King of Hubbell, Melina King, Henry King and Mrs. Wm. Des Mars of Iron Mountain, Mrs. Dona Neault of Detroit. Emmanuel, Aldine and Louise who are living with their father. Mr. and Mrs. King and family came to this county from Pelkie, Upper Peninsula, about six years ago, living four years at Whittemore and two years in Tawas township. The funeral services were held at St. Joseph?s Church, East Tawas, on Monday, May 11. Rev. Brogger officiated. Burial was made in St. Joseph cemetery. Relatives from out of the county who attended the funeral were Henry King and Melina King of Iron Mountain, Mr. and Mrs. Dona Neault, Mrs. Flora Duquette and Mrs. Glen Ewing of Detroit.
