GAMACHE, Lillian (Watts)
Lillian (Watts) Gamache, 82, of East Hartford and Manchester, passed on Saturday, (September 13, 2003) surrounded by her loving family at Manchester Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was the widow of Anthony J. Gamache. She was born on April 15, 1921 in Lawrence, MA, a daughter of the late Polly (Walton) and Thomas Watts, and had been a resident in Connecticut for almost 50 years. She retired from American Mutual Insurance Co., Wethersfield after 38 years. She was a member of the South End Seniors, East Hartford and an avid bingo player. Her giving nature and ever-ready smile will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Gamache is survived by three sons, Donald A. Gamache of Defiance, OH, Robert W. Gamache of East Hartford, Charles T. Gamache of East Hartford; a step-daughter, Sylvia Burke and her husband, John, of Clearwater, FL; four grandchildren, JoAnne Beard of Farmington, MN, Anthony Gamache of Andover, MN, Thomas Gamache of Draper, UT, Devon Gamache of Rockville; four great-grandchildren, Koryn Bageley, Alishia and Kristen Hebb all of Farmington, MN, Jaden Gamache of Draper, UT; a niece, Marlene Lawrence of Manchester, NH; and a nephew, William Magoon of Haverhill, MA. Private funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lillian's name may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care of Connecticut, 111 Founders Plaza, Suite 200, East Hartford, 06108.
