  [S5] Obituary. Providence Journal (RI) - Wednesday, March 16, 1983 Deceased Name: Romeo Gamache Romeo Gamache, 77, of 33 Hurley Ave., died Monday in Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Marie Anna (Faucher) Gamache. Born in Montreal, Canada, he was a son of the late Amedee and Celestine (Theberge) Gamache. He had lived in Pawtucket more than 50 years. Before retiring 15 years ago he was a machinist at the Brown & Sharpe Co., of Providence for 26 years. Mr. Gamache was a member of the Woodlawn Senior Citizens Club and the Board of Directors of the Senior Inn and Health Center. Besides his wife he leaves a son, Robert Gamache of Pawtucket; two daughters, Mrs. Rita Erskine of Central Falls and Mrs. Alice King of North Smithfield; and two grandchildren. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. from the Lachapelle Funeral Home, 643 Main St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in St. John the Baptist Church, Slater Street. Burial will be private.
