[S5] Obituary. Harlan Norman Gamache 05/15/1932 - 05/22/2018 Har (Hoot) Gamache, Port Orange, passed on May 22 at the age of 86. He was born in New York Mills, NY and moved to Daytona in 1969. His wife Ruth preceded Harlan in death in 1994. He is survived by his daughters, Debra Willis, St. Augustine and Victoria Babcock, Port Orange, his sons, Andrew Gamache, Port Orange, Richard Gamache, Saugerties, NY, and Dale Gamache, Holly Hill, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a niece (who was like a daughter), Mary Ellen Knudsen. There will be a service for the family at a later time in upstate New York. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA) can be made online in memory of Harlan Gamache.
