Alice is the daughter of Maximin Gamache and Arthemise Chretien. She died three months short of her 105 birthday. Two of her sisters went on to be nuns in the Sisters of Charity Order. Alice spent the last 20 years of her life in Foyer des Bois-Francs nursing home. She was never married.
