Gervais, 96, of Deland, passed away on May 29, 2015.She was born in Chester, N.H., on April 12, 1919.She worked as a seamstress for MFK in the Mills of Manchester, N.H., for many years. Upon her retirement, she worked as a foster grandparent in Manchester, N.H., and Deland, most recently with the Duval Home in Deland, until the age of 93. She was an avid reader and volunteer.She was predeceased by her daughter, Laurette Rene, of Manchester, N.H. Family members include her son, Ronald Gervais Jr.; her daughter, Cheryl (Share) Littleton and her husband, Robert; grandchildren, Edward Brodeur and wife Lisa, Jay Mendoza and wife Sheryl, Sha Peterson, Austin Littleton, Rachel Littleton, Mark Rene, Robin Proulx, Kelly Rene, Steven Rene and wife Shelly, Ronald Gervais and John Gervais; 17 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.The family will have a celebration of life service at a later date.
