Thomas A. Mattison
August 24, 2004 Thomas A. Mattison, 44, of Manchester, CT, entered into eternal peace on August 24, 2004 in Daytona, Florida. He was born September 30, 1959 in Hartford, CT, the son of the late Gaylord and Charlotte Mattison. He attended Wethersfield High and resided in Michigan for the last nine years, returning to CT in January. Thomas was a Journeyman Lineman out of the I.B.E.W. Local #42 in Manchester, CT for 17 years and an avid fisherman and sports enthusiast. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Maureen Mattison. Thomas is survived by his sister, Charleen Mattison of Manchester, CT and his brother, Peter Mattison and sister-in-law, Maria Mattison of Redfield, NY. He leaves behind nephew, Toby Mattison and his wife, Laura Mattison of Manchester, CT; nephew, Joseph Gamache and wife, Melissa Gamache of Colchester, CT; nephew, Peter James Mattison and his wife of Tolland, CT; niece, Tabitha Balnis of Enfield, CT; niece, Dawn Conklin of Ashford, CT and several grandnieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Friday, October 1, 2004 4 to 8 p.m. at Watkins Funeral Home, 142 East Center St., Manchester, CT. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 2, at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, 896 Main St., Mancester. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made for Hurricane Victims on behalf of Tom.
