  [S5] Obituary. JOHN MCCLENDON OBITUARY MCCLENDON John Calvin McClendon, age 68, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011. John was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, FL and he retired after 33 years as an Assistant Superintendent for the city of Jacksonville Department of Streets and Highways. He is survived by his wife of 14years, Lani McClendon, three daughters; Julie Brooke (Kenny), Wanda Hanscom (David), Kelly Helwig (Jim) and seven grandchildren; Dalton Moore, Dillon Carter, Hannah Helwig, Bailey and Ethan Brooke, Max and Channyng Bell. Funeral services will be held, Friday, October 7, 2011 at 11:00am in the chapel of FRASER FUNERAL HOME, 8168 Normandy Blvd. (781-4314) with Dr. Keith Russell officiating.
