Joyce Aileen Yenson November 16, 1957 - March 17, 2021 Joyce Yenson, 63, of Ottawa Ontario passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the Ottawa Hospital. She is preceded by her late husband Earl Yenson. She was born to predeceased parents Laurentia Favreau and Emérile Ladouceur on November 16, 1957 in Shawville QC. Joyce was the mother of one child Gail Yenson (Shawn Villemaire). Wonderful Granny to Damion, Austin (Choé Gamache) Great Granny to Ty and Aurora. Her grandsons and great grandchildren were her life, she wanted to be here to see her great grandson's first birthday and made that happen, she could not be there physically but celebrated his birthday by facetime with them which truly fulfilled her hearts desire. Joyce was part of a large family of 8 sisters and 6 brothers. Preceded by her brothers, Gerald, John, sisters, Rita, Jeannette, Claire, Marie. She leaves behind Brothers Lionel (Cécile), Raymond, Maurice (Kathy), Richard (Glenda) and sisters Suzanne (Arthur), Nicole and Christine (Nicole) She leaves behind her life companion David Millar. Aunt to many Nieces and Nephews that she loved dearly and will be sadly missed by all. She has a special place in everyone's heart. Joyce has taken a piece of my heart with her, I have lost a big sister, best friend, life teacher, and confidante. (Christine) Rest peacefully my loving sister, you deserve to be with the Angels after your battle with Cancer. Anyone wishing to donate can do so at the Ottawa Hospital Foundation (Cancer Centre).
