Johnson Florence Lillian Date of death: Thursday December 20, 2007 source The Edmonton Journal, AB 2007-12-22 Lalonde, Florence Lillian (nee Johnson) November 15, 1928 - December 20, 2007 Florence Lalonde, aged 79 years, passed away gently December 20, 2007 with her family at her bedside. She will be forever remembered by her daughters; Diane Gamache (Peter), Heather Brooks, and Marion Lalonde (Ken Little). Left to cherish her memory are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Florence was predeceased by her husband, Art Lalonde (2002), son Graeme (2007), and sons-in-law, Ron Anderson (2002) and Everett Grant (2007). Florence will be remembered with love by the many foster children who made their home with the Lalonde's over the years. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 27th, 2007 at 2:00 p. m in the Clyde Hall with Reverend Allan Bonertz officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Donations gratefully accepted in Florence's memory can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a Charity of One's Choice c/o 10004 - 105 Street, Westlock, AB T7P 1V2. The Family wishes to honor the huge commitment of love and support received by the loving staff at the Smithfield Lodge for the excellent care given to our Mom over the past several years. Their love and selfless devotion to our Mom made her time enjoyable. We honor all of the staff for the hard work they do on a daily basis.
