HOCHHAUSEN Genevieve Date of death: Saturday October 2, 2010 source The Edmonton Journal, AB 2010-10-05 HOCHHAUSEN, Sister Genevieve Daughter of Wisdom On October 2, 2010, Sister Genevieve Hochhausen, DW passed away peacefully at Providence Centre in Edmonton at the age of 91 years. Sister Genevieve leaves to celebrate her new life in Christ, her brother, Wilfred; sister, Lucille; brother-in-law, George Matheson; sisters-in-law, Gertrude Hochhausen and Ruth Hochhausen; quite a number of nieces and nephews; as well as the members of her religious community, the Daughters of Wisdom. She was predeceased by her sisters, Kay and Florence; sister-in-law, Hazel Hochhausen; brothers, Louis Hochhausen and Joe Hochhausen; and brothers-in-law, Floyd Hansman and Emil Gamache. A Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Providence Centre, 3005 - 1 19 Street, Edmonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the same location. Cremation to follow with inurnment at Red Deer Cemetery at a later date.
