Anna C. Brazeau, 93, of L'Anse, MI, passed away Thursday evening April 10, 2008 at Bayside Village, L'Anse. She had been a resident there for nine months.
Anna Muvrin was born in Calumet, MI., on Jan. 8, 1915, the daughter of the late, Matt Muvrin and Margaret (Maijmih) Muvrin. She attended school in Bovine. Anna married George Brazeau in L'Anse on Nov. 18, 1939. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2002.
Anna was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and the former Altar Society. She enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, going to the casino, cooking, and in her earlier years worked on their farm.
Anna Brazeau was survived by her loving children, Joseph (Christine) of L'Anse, Barbara (Aldrick) Sirard of Midland, MI., and Mary (Stuart) Lahti of L'Anse, 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and sister Agnes James of Spokane, WA. Numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and cousins also survived.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Margaret in 2002, one brother, and four sisters.
