Sydney Worrall, 95 of Leominster, passed away Friday, April 1, 2011 in Sunrise Assisted Living after a short illness. Sydney was born in Bartibog, New Brunswick on November 22, 1915, son of the late Alexander and Annie (Morrison) Worrall. He retired from Advanced Tool, where he worked as a mold maker for many years. He also worked for Guy P. Harvey. Sydney was an avid golfer who loved to travel to Canada yearly. He leaves his son, Lawrence S. Worrall Jr.and wife Wanda of Long Beach, Ca ; four daughters, Janet L. Labor of Old Orchard Beach, ME, Judith A. Fix of Ridgeland, MS, Joan M. Newell and husband Kevin of Lunenburg, Carol J. Gaffney of Fitchburg. He also leaves two step daughters, Linda Call and Karen Gamache; 19 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren. Sydney was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy M. (Howard) Worrall who died in 1979 and Kathleen (Gamache) Worrall who died in 2009. WORRALL -- The funeral will be held from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, on Wednesday, April 6, 2011with a Mass in at 10:00 A.M. in Holy Family of Nazareth Church, Union St, Leominster. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
