  [S5] Obituary. Thursday, August 16, 2001 Dorothy M. (Willette) Gamache, 77, of Lawrence, died Friday, Aug. 10 at Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover. Mrs. Gamache was a public speaking teacher in Lawrence and Methuen schools and Staley College for several years. She also was a teacher's aide at Oliver and Frost schools in Lawrence for several years before she retired. Born and educated in Lawrence, she graduated from St. Mary's High School. She received a bachelor's degree in oratory at Staley College of Spoken Words in Boston. Members of her family include her husband of five years, Roland Gamache; mother, Alice (Dobbins) Willette of Andover; sister, Barbara Sullivan of Andover; sons, Stephen Couture of Cape Cod and David Couture of Harwich; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the widow of Gerald Couture. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements were by Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen.
