  [S5] Obituary. Providence Journal (RI) - Tuesday, December 8, 1998 Deceased Name: NORTH SMITHFIELD ALICE B. GAMACHE ALICE B. GAMACHE, 71, of 461 Smithfield Rd., died Sunday at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of Roger G. Gamache. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Omer and Alice (Baril) Jalette. She was a lifelong resident of North Smithfield. Besides her husband, Mrs. Gamache leaves a daughter, Christine R. Lafreniere of North Smithfield; a son, Gerard M. Lapierre; a sister, Therese Lavallee of North Smithfield; four brothers, Paul, Joseph and Francis Jalette, all of North Smithfield, and Leo Jalette of Woonsocket; and two grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Leo Lapierre Jr. and the sister of the late George Edmond Edgar Jalette. The funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Avenue, Woonsocket. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
