  [S5] Obituary. Barnstable Patriot, The (MA) - Friday, May 25, 2007 Deceased Name: James P. Harrington, 78 Mashpee - James P. Harrington, 78, died May 13, 2007. Mr. Harrington was born in Boston. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and retired a sergeant major of the Army Reserve. He was a retired postal employee and served as a director of the Postal Credit Union for 25 years. Mr. Harrington was the husband of Barbara (Murphy) Harrington; son of the late John C. and Gertrude (Kelley) Harrington; and brother of the late Barbara Mastropieri, George, Bernard OFM and Robert Harrington. Besides his wife, Jim is survived by his children, Marylouise Gamache of Barrington, R.I., Barbara Harrington of West Roxbury, James Harrington of Hanover, Carol McCoy of Acton and Patricia Palmer of Cotuit; grandchildren John and Daniel McCoy, Meagan, Kelly and Erin Gamache and Kelsey and Ryan Palmer; and sister Eileen Jollimore of Medford. A funeral Mass was celebrated May 18 at Christ the King Church in Mashpee Commons. Burial was in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Visiting hours were held May 17 at John-Lawrence Funeral Home in Marstons Mills.
