June V. (Samuels) Gamache, 65, of Willimantic, died Friday Feb. 20, 2004 at the Windham Hospital. She was born June 2, 1938 in Hartford, the daughter of the late David Samuels Sr. and Eva (Kennison) Samuels. She had been employed for 10 years at Electro-Motive Manufacturing Co. and more recently had been a volunteer at United Services in the Lighthouse Program. June enjoyed craftwork. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Mark and Pamela Gamache of Lebanon, 3 daughters; Carol Dumas and her husband Jerry of Willimantic, Colette Grzych and her husband Jon of Essex Junction, VT. and Karen Morin and David Ancona of Willimantic, her former husband Raymond Gamache of Columbia, her brother Albert Samuels of Mansfield, 3 sisters; Audrey Green of Lebanon, Gerry Thompson of Storrs and Sheila Roberts of Union, 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Eva Merrill and a brother David Samuels Jr. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Her funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00am with the Rev. Jack Schneider officiating. Burial will be private in the Grove Cemetery, Windsor Locks. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to American Diabetes Assoc., CT. Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 31160, Hartford, Ct. 06150-1160.
