  [S5] Obituary. Baillargeon, Helen SPEIGLETOWN Helen Baillargeon, 95, formerly of Milky Way Road died peacefully Friday, September 7, 2018, at the Eddy Village Green. Born and educated in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine Krupski Szostak. Helen lived most of her life in Speigletown. She worked for the N.Y.S. Dept. of Civil Service until her retirement and had been employed at the Watervliet Arsenal prior to that. She was also a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church where she and her husband were active in the parish community. Helen was married for 59 years to Harvey Baillargeon who passed in 2007. She was sister of the late Stasia Maruski, Edward Szostak and Leona Gamache. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12 p.m. at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St., Waterford. Entombment will follow in Memory Gardens, Colonie. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's memory to St. Mary of the Assumption Restoration Fund, 119 Broad St., Waterford, NY 12188.
