FEATHERSTONE, Shirley Ann
(nee Kelly)
February 25, 1940 - June 1, 2017
It is with heavy hearts we announce our much loved and deeply respected mom passed away with our dad by her side on June 1, 2017. Mom was a devoted wife who loved our dad (Bower Edward Featherstone) unconditionally for 58 years. Dad passed away August 22, 2017.
Predeceased by her parents Anthony Kelly and Edith Hayes and her brother Vince. Mom will be missed by her 4 sisters and best friends Betty, Pat, Terry and Gail (The Kelly Girls). Mom will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Heartbroken are her children Cheryl Morrice (Jamie Best), Donna Devine (Darryl), Linda Elliott (Kevin), and her devoted son Timmy Featherstone (Tammy Gemmill).
Adoring grandma to Jenna and Kyle Devine, Brad and Brooke Morrice (their father Alex Morrice) and Taylor Ann Featherstone (her mother Rena Sequin - Peters).
Other than her much loved family mom's next love was the Ottawa Senators, we could not write this without mentioning her Ottawa Team. Eh mom "Go Sens Go" !
Our heartfelt thanks to St. Viateur nursing home who cared for our mom her last days with the dignity and respect.
Friends and Family are invited to Beechwood, Cemetery and Funeral Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, from 4 ? 6 p.m. Saturday, August 26 for a Memorial Gathering.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Shepherds of Good Hope in mom's memory.
