Nancy Renehan-Houle, of Bristol, passed away on Feb. 9, 2021, at the age of 50. Born in Waterbury on July 25, 1970, to the late Robert Gamache and Joyce Gamache. Nancy leaves behind her husband, Steve Houle of Bristol, beloved daughters Emily Renehan and Erika Renehan of Bristol, her brother Alan Gamache of Torrington, her sister Wendy Rezende of West Hartford and grandson Wilberto Otero III, and many family and friends. She was a loving wife of 17 years and a devoted mother. Nancy was always known as a fighter who had an infectious laugh and always made you feel loved. Despite her intense medical setbacks, she always remained strong and hopeful. She brought immense joy to everyone around her. She loved Snoopy, stuffed animals and most importantly, above all, her family. The family would also like to thank Nancy's home care providers who loved and supported her throughout her life. A walk-through visitation will take place at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Monday, Feb. 15 between 4 and 7 p.m. Mask and social distancing are required. A Funeral Home service will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a committal in Peacedale Cemetery, located at 115-199 James P. Casey Rd, Bristol.
