"Tommy" Gamache, 74, of 27 Woodward Rd., a Rhode Island Public Transit Authority bus driver for 40 years before retiring in 1982, died Thursday at home. He was the husband of Anne (Fiske) Gamache. Born in Attleboro, Mass., he was a son of the late Arthur and Etudienne (Plante) Gamache. He lived in Lincoln 40 years. He was a communicant of St. Jude Church, and was a member of the Transit Union Local 618, Providence; Ring 107 of Providence; and the Lincoln Country Club. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Bruce C. and Craig P. Gamache, both of Cumberland; two stepsons, Richard Silva of Attleboro and Paul Reddick of Lincoln; two sisters, Doris Achin of North Attleboro and Dora Herman of Beverly Hills, Fla.; and seven grandchildren. He was a brother of the late Arthur and Ernest Gamache. The funeral will be Monday at 9 a.m. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 16 8River Rd., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Jude Church, Front Street. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
