  [S5] Obituary. Stanley "Stashu" Theodore Patrick Krauz, 73, formerly of 2 New Hampton Road, Franklin, died at Merrimack County Nursing Home on Oct. 15, 2000. He was born in Franklin on Dec. 8, 1926, the son of Julian and Klara (Kus) Krauz. He resided in Franklin most of his life but lived in Canterbury in the late 50s and early 60s. Mr. Krauz was employed as a construction worker for A.B. Nelson Crane Service of Boscawen for several years. He was a former member of the Polish Home Association in Franklin. Mr. Krauz was the husband of Lorraine (Dorval) Krauz who died in 1998. Family members include his children, Joann Irving of Hill, Denise M. Ordway of Salisbury; Richard S. Krauz, Robert S. Krauz, and Kevin P. Krauz, all of Franklin, Janice E. Krauz of Concord, and Laurie J. Nadeau of Franklin; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Freda Colburn of Franklin, Frances Karlberg of Laconia, and Stella Baker of Enfield; a brother, Walter Krauz of Franklin; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Helen Cheney, Sophie Gamache, and Kay McCowan, and brothers, Charles Krauz and Joe Krauz. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at Thibault-Neun Funeral Home, 143 Franklin St., Franklin. Graveside services will be held Thursday at noon at Holy Cross Cemetery, Franklin. Donations in memory of Mr. Krauz may be made to a charity of one?s choice.
