Gamache Jean Date of death: 2008-01-00 source The Press, Montreal, QC 2007-01-11 GAMACHE, Jean Father Jean Gamache, Missionary Oblate of Mary Immaculate, died in Richelieu, at the age of 76 years and 4 months. Born in Laurentides (La Plaine), he is the son of Abondius Gamache and Émilia Courtemanche, who died. He made his first vows on July 26, 1955 and was ordained a priest on June 6, 1959. He worked in the country, in various parish and other posts in Maniwaki, Rouyn, Granby, Chambly, Rougemont, Ste-Agathe-des-Monts. In addition to his religious family, he will be sadly missed by his sisters: Éva (Maurice Fullum), Sr. Paulette, Snjm, Sr. Lucille, Aps, Sr. Germaine, Snjm, Thérèse (Florian Laurin), Sr Jeanne, Sjnm, and Raymonde, as well as relatives and friends. The body of the deceased will be exhibited at Les Missionnaires Oblats 460, 1st Street, Richelieu on Friday, January 11, from 9 pm to 9 pm (community prayer at 7:30 pm). The next day, Saturday, January 12, 2008, visits from 1 to 2 pm, funeral time, at the same place. Burial at the Oblate cemetery of Richelieu. Published on 2008/01/11 in Press URQR9938
