Shirley Louise Anders, 90, passed away March 10 in Lake Havasu City.
She was born to William and Jessie Mac Brian in Springfield, Mass. June 15, 1925.
Shirley enjoyed reading, doing crafts and gardening. She loved to be outside working in the yard and planting flowers. She was a proud member of Grace Episcopal Church and had many close friends there. She truly loved people and made friends where ever she went. She was a very loving mother and grandmother.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, William Anders, her parents William and Jessie Mac Brian, and her son, George Steven Anders.
She is survived by her sons Brian (Jill) Gamache of El Cajon, Calif., Charles Anders of Chula Vista, Calif.; daughter, Charlene (Keith) Raby of Lake Havasu City; grandsons Matthew and Jeremy Gamache; granddaughters Amanda Black (Conner) and Christy Ballard (Nate); as well as two great-grandsons, Jason and Mathew Ballard.
A memorial service is at Grace Episcopal Church of Lake Havasu City Saturday, March 19, at 10 a.m.
Donations may be made in honor of Shirley to Grace Episcopal Church.
