ROULEAU, Yvonne (née Gamache)
Forever in Our Hearts
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Yvonne Marie Rouleau on August 12, 2017 in Edmonton, Alberta. C'est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de notre très chère maman et grand-maman. The constant tender and loving care she received from her husband enabled her to pass away peacefully at home.
Yvonne will be lovingly remembered by her wonderful husband André, her loving children: Raymond (Karen), Gisèle (Michael), Maurice (Shauna), and her grandchildren: Daniel, Éric, Caitlin, André, Dillon and Jacquie, sisters-in-law, Lena and Denise, numerous relatives, friends and students. Yvonne was predeceased by her parents Ida and Camille Gamache, brothers, Roland and Adrien and sister, Florence MacDonald.
Yvonne attended the University of Alberta where she earned her B.Ed. Degree and was outstanding in her field for 35 years with the Catholic Schools in Edmonton and in Toronto. Her unconditional love, compassion, thoughtfulness, wisdom, and guidance, enriched the lives of her family, friends and students. She was truly an extraordinary woman.
At Yvonne's request, a private Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joachim Catholic Church. Your prayers and kindness are greatly appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Edmonton Catholic School Foundation.
