Theresa Larson
NORWAY--Theresa R. Larson, 91, of Norway died Saturday, May 17, 1997, at the Freeman Convalescent Home in Kingsford.
Mrs. Larson was born May 24, 1905, in Vulcan, daughter of the late Peter and Domenica (Martini) Vicenzi.
She married Arthur Chartier on Sept. 19, 1923, in Vulcan. He preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 1950. She married Clarence Larson in November of 1963 in Vulcan. He preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1995.
Mrs. Larson worked as a clerk at Bob's Market and Lundin's Market. She also served as Norway Township treasurer for 10 years.
Mrs. Larson was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church of Vulcan, the Leagion of Mary and St. Ann's Altar Society.
She leaves four sons, Arthur (Lorraine) Chartier of Norway, Clyde (Peg) Chartier of Norway, Don (Darlene) Chartier of Sturgeon Bay, Wis., and Marvin (Kathy) Chartier of Norway; two daughters, Eloise (James) Robinson of Neenah, Wis., and Theresa Hendricks of Green Bay, Wis.; 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Peter (Anne) Vicenzi of Iron Mountain and John (Mildred) Vicenzi of Anna, Ill., two sisters-in-law, Ann Vicenzi of Norway and Phyllis Vicenzi of Iron Mountain and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Larson also was preceded in death by four brothers, Andrew Vicenzi, Simon Vicenzi, Angelo Vicenzi and Clement Vicenzi; two sisters, Judith Meagher and Beatrice Heuring, and a great-granddaughter, Michelle Schorman.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Miner Funeral Home of Norway. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with parish prayers to follow at 7 p.m.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Miner Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Barbara Catholic Church of Vulcan. Fr. James M. Hebein will officiate.
Burial will be in Norway Township Cemetery.
