Mrs. Josephine Remshak, 84, a former Sheboygan resident, died Monday morning at a Denver hospital. She had been making her home with a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Mizke, Wheat Ridge, Colo.
Born in Yugoslavia in 1891, the daughter of Matt and Maria Krainc, she came to this country in 1920.
On April 4, 1921, she married Frank Remshak in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death in May, 1954.
She had been a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius CAtholic Church, the parish Christian Mothers Society, the Slovenian Womens Union, American Slovenian Organization and the KSKJ Queen of May Society.
A funeral mass will be offered at 10 am Friday at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Church, the Rev. Father Joseph Safiejeko, pastor, celebrant. The mass will be preceded by brief family rites at the Gerrand-Habermann Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral homeafter 4 pm Thursday, and a parish vigil will be held at 6:30 pm Thursday.
In addition to her daughter, she is survived by three grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Christina Rupnik, Sheboygan and two other sisters in Yugoslavia. She was preceded in death by a son and daughter, one brother and two sisters.
