BURIAL Non-Cemetery Burial, Specifically: Buried at or near the site on the Santa Fe Trail where he died

Murdered at what was then known as "Hickory Point" about 10 miles south Lawrence, Kansas along the Santa Fe Road (Santa Fe Trail) - Evidence showed tracks made by boot or shoe from the scene of the crime - not a moccasin track (suggesting a white man committed his murder). The most likely suspect was his business partner, but that man was never investigated or tried.
However, See See Sah Mah, a Native American was accused, tried and sentenced to death for his murder. Both men's end of life stories are tragic, even though See See's life was spared only minutes from execution.
