Joyce Marie Kopins, 77, of Howell, passed away November 11, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born December 29, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan to late Clement Alton and late Helen Marie (Duquette) Boudreau. Joyce graduated from Immaculata High School in Detroit. She worked as a bookkeeper for her husband?s auto repair business. Joyce?s family, children, grandchildren and her faith were the most precious to her and she also enjoyed cooking, skiing, golfing, singing, music and travel. Beloved wife of 60 years to Howard Joseph Kopins whom she married on October 18, 1958 in Detroit, MI. Loving mother of the late James Howard Kopins, 1989, (Kathleen Lyscas), Patrick Joseph (Susan) Kopins, Jeanne Marie (William) Myers and Gregory Alton (Kristy) Kopins. Proud grandmother of Joseph (Kelli) Kopins, Jacob (Allison) Kopins, Daniel (Emily) Myers, Bridgette Myers (Jon) Bancroft, Christopher Kopins, Dillon Myers, Brenna Lyscas, James Kopins, Sam Lyscas, Eric Kopins, Tiara Kopins, Lena Myers, Parker Kopins, Siera Kopins; great-grandmother of Liam Kopins, Gretchen Kopins, Wynn Kopins, Emersyn Bancroft and Baby to be Kopins. Dear sister to Marie Bitner, Clement Boudreau, Carol Evans, Jeanne Phillips, Mary Anne Uetz, Eileen Hendra, James Boudreau, Ted Boudreau, Chris Boudreau, Roy Boudreau and Gail Bricker. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of the Resurrection will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 E. Washington at Fowler Street, Howell, MI (Visitation 10-11 at the church). Visitation will be Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 3-9 p.m. at MacDonald?s Funeral Home, 315 N. Michigan Avenue, Howell (517-546-2800). The rosary will be prayed at 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Crohn?s and Colitis Foundation in memory of Joyce Kopins.
