- [S5] Obituary.
Janice Boudreau, 76, of Westland passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on November 5, 2021, after her battle with Cancer.
Our mother, Janice, was one of the strongest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the matriarch of our family. Janice was a fiercely dedicated mom and grandma. She cherished her family, which is a value she instilled in all of us. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.
Janice was born on March 12, 1945 to Andrew and Marion Lees. She graduated in 1963 from Ferndale High School. She worked at Value Center for the last 30 years. Janice was the loving mother to 4 children, Ted Jr (Kim) Boudreau, Marian (Dan) Halkey, Jennifer (Todd) Rew, and Andy (Sunshine) Boudreau. She also had 3 stepchildren, Kelly (Tim) Boudreau, Joseph (Vicki) Boudreau, and Michelle (Steve) Lendzion. She was the proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren, Brandon Boudreau, Alexandria Rew, Nicholas (Rhanon) Boudreau, Jake Rew, Lauren Boudreau, Troy Halkey, Emily Halkey, Rachael Halkey, and 1 great grandchild Leilah Boudreau. She was a loving sister to Linda Schultz, Nancy Ferranti, Sandy White, Sherry Boudreau, and Andy Lees.
She will be greatly missed by everyone. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Beacon Hill Golf Club from 1-5.
