Gamache, Guy It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guy Emile Gamache, 82, of Sherwood Park, who passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017. Our family is grieving the loss of a most loving, gentle, generous and kind man. Grandpa Guy touched everyone's life in some way. He will be missed by so many people who loved and knew him. He was one of the good guys! If he's not in heaven, there's not much hope for the rest of us. Born November 11, 1934, in St. Paul, Alberta, Guy was predeceased by his devoted and loving wife of 52 years, Florence Gamache. Together, they created a legacy of family and love. Guy was predeceased by his parents, Leon and Yvonne Gamache, and brother, Gilles Gamache. Guy is lovingly remembered by his children Michael (Tara), Anita (Bob), Daniel (Heather), Monique (Justen) and eight beautiful grandchildren, Jacob (Kelsey), Benjamin, Kennedy, Joshua, Emma, Grace, Annie, and Jack. Treasured aunties Thérèse and Anna Laberge, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends share in this great loss. Guy is the eldest of six children: Gilles Gamache (deceased), Mariette Dawson, Charles Gamache, Anna Pratch, and Joyce Williams.
