Ernest R. Leveille, 84, of Tamarack St., Hudson, died Sunday, January 8, 2006 at the Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare Center. Mr. Leveille was born in Nashua on April 28, 1921, a son of the late Alphonse & Josephine (Miller) Leveille. He was the husband of Florence M. (Gamache) Leveille of Hudson.Mr. Leveille was a longtime resident of Hudson and he was educated in Nashua schools. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Leveille had been employed by Doehla Greeting Cards for over 20 years and retiring from Nashua Corporation in 1983. He was a WWII Army veteran serving with Battery A 210th Antiaircraft Artillery. He served in the Southwest Pacific until his discharge in 1945. Mr. Leveille was a life member and gold card member of the American Legion Hudson Post #48, a life member and charter member of the Hudson V.F.W. Post #5791, a third degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council #5162 and he was a member of the Hudson Historical Society. He w as a communicant of St. john the Evangelist Church where he served as an usher for over 30 years. He was predeceased by five brothers, Alphonse, Alfred, George, Henry and Arthur and 5 sisters, Eva Lafayette, Melvina Ferris, Ida Belanger, Marian Plourde and Yvonne Levesque. Besides his wife, Mr. Leveille is survived by; Two godchildren; Sandra Lussier of Nashua and Juliana Allard of Farmville, NC. Also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. FUNERAL NOTICE: LEVEILLE: Died Sunday, January 8, 2006 in Nashua. Ernest R. Leveille, 84, of Hudson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday in St. John the Evangelist Church at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM in the Anctil-Rochette & Son Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua.
