FALL RIVER -- Edward N. Gamache, 84, of Parker Street, died at home Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999. He was the husband of Doris Y. (Dutilly) Gamache; they were married 59 years. A lifelong Fall River resident, he was the son of the late Joseph and Victoria (Beaulieu) Gamache. A former member of the Loomfixers Union, Mr. Gamache worked in the textile industry for Pepperrell Manufacturing and Quaker Fabrics. Survivors include a son, Richard E. Gamache of East Providence; a daughter, Elaine Hutchinson of Fall River; two sisters, Blanche Berube of Riverside, R.I., and Jeannette McGee of Swansea; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Leo Gamache, Oliver Gamache and Hilaire Gamache. His funeral will be at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. William Church, Chicago Street. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
