randenburgh, Cecil Ray passed away, Friday, December 23, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ellen Brandenburgh. Dear father of Jim (Janice) Brandenburgh, Mary Beth (David) Gamache and Linda (David) Agrippino. Dear grand- father of Clay (Debbie) Brandenburgh, Anna (Ryan) Williams, Katie (Ryan) Connolly, Caroline (Tony) Howard, Ellie (Jay) Hildebrand and Connor Agrippino. Dear great-grandfather of Mary Claire, Hank, Carter, Joe, John Mark and Harper Rae. Dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Ray was a committed Christian and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Ellisville. During World War II Ray landed at Omaha Beach as part of the D-Day Invasion and served in France, Belgium and Germany, attaining the rank of Sergeant. After the War ended he was discharged and became a lineman and a member of the IBEW Local #2. He obtained an engineering degree at Washington University and became Vice President of Sachs Electric Company. Services: Funeral service at First Baptist Church of Ellisville, 137 Clarkson Rd., Wed. Jan. 4, 11 a.m. Interment Bellerive Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Ellisville or Greater St. Louis Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.
