Lita L. Noordyk, age 102, of Plymouth went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the Kindred Hearts in Plymouth.
She was born in the Town of Mitchell on October 8, 1908 daughter of the late Henry and Fredia (Buckholz) Miller.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth where she was a member of the Ladies Aid and spent many years teaching Sunday School.
On September 23, 1936 she married Joseph J. Noordyk in Plymouth. He preceded her in death on November 1, 1963.
In her free time she volunteered at Bethesda in Sheboygan, listening to the Brewers, reading, tending to her flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by 3 grandchildren, Jodi (Ed) Murray of Kiel, Jennica (Allen) Krebsbach of Kiel, Joel (Patti) Noordyk of Kiel, 6 great grandchildren, Nathan Murray (special friend Leah), Megan Murray, Matthew Murray (fianc?' Cassie), Marilee Krebsbach, Lita and Claudia Noordyk, and daughters-in-law, Susan Noordyk and Suzanne Noordyk.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Ronnie Noordyk, and sister, Leota Lindow.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the Schneider Funeral Home & Life Tributes in Plymouth with the Rev. Thomas Burton, associate pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery
