TOGUS ? Laurier W. Marcoux, 71, of 17 Tamarak, Norway, formerly of Lewiston died Thursday at the Veterans Administration Hospital. He was born in Lewiston Aug. 20, 1927, the son of Frederick and Dora Dumont Marcoux. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1952. Mr. Marcoux worked for many years as a Tour Bus driver. He was active in various veterans organizations, enjoyed flea markets, travelling and social events. He was a member of Holy Cross Church. Survivors include three daughters, Joycelin and her husband, Albert Lemelin, Yvette and her husband Denis Bouttenot of Lewiston and Rachel and her husband Ronald Gamache of Cabot, Ark.; three sons, Laurier J., Richard J., both of Lewiston and James P. of Minot; one sister, Marcelle Boisvert of Waterford, Conn.; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grand children. A sister predeceased him, Vernice Murphy.
