LEWISTON ? Bernadette M. Jolicoeur, 90, of 314 Meadowview Park, died Thursday, Aug. 28, at d?Youville Pavilion after a short illness.
She was born in Princeville, Quebec, on March 10, 1913, the daughter of Auguste and Roseanne (Lecours) Beaudette.
On Aug. 21, 1931 she married Napoleon A. Jolicoeur who died on June 27, 1990. She was educated in Quebec schools. As a young women she worked at the Clark Shoe Shop as a stitcher, after the birth of her children she was a homemaker for many years.
She was an avid cooking enthusiast, enjoyed arts and crafts, member of St. Peter?s Church and Dames of Ste Anne. She also had a love of music and in her younger days sang solos.
She is survived by two daughters, Pauline and her husband Lonn Glass and Monique and her husband Richard Lacompte all of Lewiston; one brother, Roland Beaudette of Quebec; two sisters, Germaine Gamache and Cecile Beliveau both of Quebec; five grandchildren, Shawanna, Wesley, Christopher, Lea and Joseph; one great-grandchild, Chira.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Richard, Roger and Armand; and one sister, Pauline.
