Barbara McGrath was born in Chicago and married in 1949. As her 5 children grew older she was an avid tennis player, organizer of events at St. Francis High School in Wheaton, talented designer and up until a year before her death, a skilled painter of watercolors. She always supported and prompted her children and grandchildren to persevere and excel. She was strong-willed and had her own spirit. "Gram", "Babs' and "GiGi (GG), will be missed but there is great relief knowing she is at peace and can join her husband, sons and dear friends in heaven.
