2716 | CHELMSFORD -- Roland E. Gamache, 82 years old, of Chelmsford, MA, passed away peacefully on September 23rd, 2010, while in the presence of his beloved daughter-in-law, Judy Gamache, who rarely left his side during his illness. Loving husband of the late Rita (Morgan) Gamache, Roland's family is sure she has him by her side again. He is survived by his devoted son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Judy Gamache, and their son, Michael, all of Nashua, NH; his beloved daughter and son-in-law, Denise (Gamache) and Tony Casale of Sudbury, MA and their daughters, Amanda and Samantha who loved him dearly; and cherished son, Roland E. Gamache, Jr. and his sons, Patrick and Brian and daughter, Colleen of Indianapolis, IN. Roland is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Lou and Terri (Clifton Park, NY), and Arthur and Jeanne (Tewksbury, MA) Gamache; as well as his sister, Cecile Gamache (Rivier College), and was the brother of the late Henry (Hudson, MA) and George Gamache (Clifton Park, NY). Roland is survived by his many nieces and nephews and their children as well. Roland is known best for his love of his wife, Rita, and missed her every day since she left his side six years ago. He was a superb gardener and bird enthusiast who spent many happy hours in his yard watching over both. He was an active parishioner of St. Mary Parish. His devotion to his faith ensures that he is now able to watch over his family once again with Rita. We will continue to miss them both but are comforted to know they are together again.
