Wales-Jean Paul Gamache, 90, of Wales MA died on 9/8/2018. Born in St-Jean-Port-Joli, Quebec Canada, he was the son of Armand and Juliette (Bernier) Gamache. He joins his wife Teresa (Russo) of 58 years and son, Thomas Joseph. Settled in Springfield MA with his wife until relocating to Wales, residing there until his death. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, taking family trips to Canada, family gatherings and time with his great grand children. He loved to remember and talk about adventures from his youth. He was a member of the local carpenters union. A lover of country and music and old cowboy shows. He was a faithful member of the Catholic Church, with most recent ties to St Christopher's in Brimfield MA. He was also a long time member of the Knights of Columbus, council #4794 for over 50 years. He enjoyed helping others and donating his time and involved in many outings with the Knights of Columbus. Jean is survived by Michael and Cindy, Pauline, Jerry and Kim, and great grandchildren, Jake and Ryan. He was the oldest of 13 siblings leaving 4 sister and 2 brothers. Calling hours will be Sunday, 9/16, at Beers And Story Funeral Home in Palmer, MA from 2:00-5:00 p.m. A Mass will be held at St Christopher's and internment will take place for family, date to be determined.
