Catherine Gamache dies; township resident 43 years
MIDDLETOWN A mass was celebrated yesterday at St. Mary's Church, New Monmouth, for Catherine Adams Gamache, 73, of Elyar Terrace, who died Friday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Batik. A native of Irvington, Mrs. Gamache had lived in Newark before moving to the township 43 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Catherine's Church, East Keansburg, and a former secretary of its Altar Rosary Society. Her husband, Clifford J., died in 1977. Surviving are three sons, Robert and John, both of the township, and Richard, Bothell, Wash.; two daughters, Catherine Schloeder of the township, and Patricia Petterson, Keyport; three brothers, John Adams of Lighthouse Point, Fla., Raymond Adams of Cairo, N.Y., and Stanley Adams of California ; a sister, Emily Feeney Of Purling, -N.Y.; 16 grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren. Burial was at.Mt. Olivet Cemetery. . The John F. Pfleger Funeral
Home was in charge of arrangements.
