ADAMS -- Doris Ann Gamache, 73, of 68 Columbia St. died yesterday at home.
Born in Adams on April 14, 1929, daughter of Joseph Letourneau and Isabell Harrington Letourneau Coulombe, she attended local schools.
Mrs. Gamache was employed with the former Jarisch Paper Box Co. in North Adams for 33 years, retiring in 1991.
She attended First Baptist Church.
She leaves her husband, Edward R. Gamache, whom she married Nov. 6, 1947; and two brothers, Albert Letourneau of Adams and William Letourneau of Palatka, Fla. A son, Robert Gamache, died in 1971.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Doris Gamache will be conducted Wednesday, April 2, at 2 in First Baptist Church by Rev. Donald E. Gray, pastor. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of Northern Berkshire, which provided hospice care to Mrs. Gamache and her family, through AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, MA 01220, which is in charge of arrangements. She also leaves her beloved dog, Buffy, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Ruth Bordeau, Mabel Keller and Jane Duprey, and her stepfather, Harvey Coulombe.
