Deceased Name: Rita M. Gamache
Rita M. Gamache of 40 Bowler St., an employee of the Fall River School Department, died yesterday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Julien E. Gamache.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Patrick and Marie (Toutan) Robert, she lived in Fall River most of her life.
She had been an assistant administrator for the former Precision Manufacturing Co. during World War II.
She was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church, and a former member of St. Roch's Parish Drill Team.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Paulette R. Taylor of Orlando, Fla.; two sons, Marc J. Gamache of Fall River and Sgt. Donald H. Gamache, stationed at Hanscom Air Force Base, Bedford; a sister, Theresa Hayden of Tiverton, R.I.; and three grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Leo, William, Louis and Albert Robert.
The funeral wil be Monday at 9 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St., with a funeral Mass at 10 in Holy Rosary Church, Beattie Street. Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
