Margaret J. Gamache Mother of eight and West Caldwell resident since her 30s Margaret J. Gamache (nee Marlowe), 86, of West Caldwell, N.J., passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2015, surrounded by her loving children. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, N.J., on Monday, April 6, 2015, from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Aloysius Church, Caldwell, on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at 10 a.m., followed by the interment at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Caldwell. To send the family condolences please visit www. ippolitofuneralhomes.com. Born and raised in Ludlow, Mass., Mrs. Gamache resided in West Caldwell for 52 years. A homemaker, she was active with the West Caldwell school system as a volunteer at the Wilson Elementary School Library and active with the Wilson School PTA. She was also a Girl Scout leader in West Caldwell. Mrs. Gamache was an avid Yankees fan and Duke University basketball fan. She enjoyed playing bridge, going to the theater, and cooking for her family. The wife of the late Ernest Gamache, she was the beloved mother of Margaret Mary Weinberg and her husband, Dr. Joseph Weinberg; Anne Hammell; Michael Gamache and his wife, Beth; Ellen Reichert and her husband, Donald; Kathryn Goldman and her husband, Steven; Michele Villani and her husband, Thomas; Lisa Reulbach and her husband, Donald, and the late Mary Bullard; dear mother-in-law of Eldred Bullard and cherished grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her sister, Frances Fountain. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Essex First Aid Squad, P.O. Box 662, West Caldwell, N.J. 07007-0662, would be appreciated.
